18 LinkedIn experience bullet examples that get you found

Most experience sections read like a job description: “responsible for,” “helped with,” “worked on.” Recruiter search doesn’t reward duties — it rewards the exact tools, scope and numbers a hiring manager typed into the search bar.

A strong bullet leads with a verb, names the stack or channel, and closes with a quantified result. Below: 18 before-and-after rewrites across six role types — steal the structure, then check what your own bullets score.

The 3-part formula behind every strong bullet

Start with a strong verb

“Built,” “led,” “closed,” “automated” — not “responsible for” or “helped with.” The verb signals ownership, and search weighs it more than filler adjectives.

Name the exact tool or channel

“Python and Go,” “Salesforce,” “paid social” — the same words a recruiter typed into the search bar. Vague nouns like “technology” or “clients” rank for nothing.

Close with a number

Revenue, percentage, time saved, users served. A quantified result survives a 6-second scan; an adjective like “successfully” does not.
